Free vs. FloElite: the split to check before the event starts
For the 2026 CrossFit Games live stream and workout schedule, the first useful answer is not who looks fit or which workout is the nastiest. It is where the stream is. Individual Events 1–6, 8, 11–14, and 18–20 are listed for free coverage through YouTube, the CrossFit app, and games.crossfit.com, while Events 7, 9, 10, the women’s side of Event 15, Events 16 and 17, plus all Masters, Teens, and Adaptive competition coverage are FloElite-exclusive in the viewing information.[1][2]
| What you want to watch | Platform status | Viewer note |
|---|---|---|
| Individual Events 1–6 | Free: YouTube, CrossFit app, games.crossfit.com | Day 1 is the cleanest free block before the Event 7 paywall. |
| Individual Event 7 | FloElite-exclusive | This is the announced swim/burpee ladder and the first obvious subscription trap for individual viewers. |
| Individual Event 8 | Free | Workout not publicly released as of July 23, 2026. |
| Individual Events 9–10 | FloElite-exclusive | Workout details not publicly released as of July 23, 2026. |
| Individual Events 11–14 | Free | Events 11, 12, and 14 are not yet released; Event 13 is listed among the released set but its Rx details were not available. |
| Individual Event 15 | Split: women FloElite-exclusive; men not identified as FloElite-exclusive in the supplied split | Recheck the platform listing before this event; split-gender coverage is exactly where viewers get caught. |
| Individual Events 16–17 | FloElite-exclusive | Both are unreleased in the available workout information. |
| Individual Events 18–20 | Free | Events 18 and 19 are in the released set, but Rx details were not available here; Event 20 remains unreleased. |
| Masters, Teens, Adaptive | FloElite-exclusive | Do not assume these divisions are included in the free individual stream. |
FloElite pricing is listed at $29.99 per month or $149.88 per year, but subscription prices should be rechecked before purchase because this is Games week and platform pages can change.[2]

Daily individual schedule and platform status
The 2026 Games run July 22–26 at SAP Center in San Jose and mark the 20th edition of the CrossFit Games.[3][4] The schedule information confirms the daily event groupings below, but it does not provide exact ET clock times for every event. That makes this table a day-by-day platform planner; final start times still need to be verified against the official Games schedule or the platform app before the event window opens.[3]
| Date | Individual events | Known platform status | Workout release status as of July 23, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wednesday, July 22 | Events 1–7 | Events 1–6 free; Event 7 FloElite-exclusive | Events 1–7 released |
| Thursday, July 23 | Events 8–12 | Event 8 free; Events 9–10 FloElite-exclusive; Events 11–12 free | Events 8–12 not publicly released |
| Friday, July 24 | Events 13–16 | Events 13–14 free; Event 15 split with women FloElite-exclusive; Event 16 FloElite-exclusive | Event 13 and Event 15 are counted among released workouts, but Rx details were not available here; Events 14 and 16 not released |
| Saturday, July 25 | Events 17–18 | Event 17 FloElite-exclusive; Event 18 free | Event 17 not released; Event 18 counted among released workouts, but Rx details were not available here |
| Sunday, July 26 | Events 19–20 | Events 19–20 free | Event 19 counted among released workouts, but Rx details were not available here; Event 20 not released |
The big practical annoyance is that free coverage and workout disclosure do not line up neatly. A free event can still be unknown until close to competition time, and a known workout can still sit behind FloElite. Event 7 is the cleanest example: the swim/burpee ladder is released, but the listed individual stream access is paid.[1][3]
Time-zone reference
San Jose operates on Pacific time during the Games. The time-zone guide uses a PDT baseline, so East Coast viewers should add 3 hours to Pacific times to get ET; Central viewers add 2 hours, Mountain viewers add 1 hour, and UK viewers add 8 hours to PDT during this July window.[5]
| If the official listing shows | Convert to |
|---|---|
| PDT | Local San Jose time |
| ET | PDT + 3 hours |
| CT | PDT + 2 hours |
| MT | PDT + 1 hour |
| UK time | PDT + 8 hours |
Announced individual workouts
Only 11 of the 20 individual workouts are identified as released as of July 23, 2026. Full Rx specifications are listed here only where the source information includes them. Events 8–12, 14, 16–17, and 20 are not publicly released in the available workout information, and they should not be filled in with guesses just because a schedule looks tidier that way.[3]
| Event | Workout | Rx details supplied | Cap / scoring notes supplied | Stream status |

| 13 | Released workout; exact name and Rx details not available | Not enough public detail to list movements or loads without guessing. | Not available. | Free |

The Day 1 programming is doing two jobs at once. The 2007 Hopper reaches back to the early Games era, Ranch 7200 takes the field away from the arena, and CrossFit Total puts a simple max-strength test next to more modern machine and skill pieces.[3][6] It is a fun spread for viewers; it is also the one day where the platform split is easiest to manage until the final individual event.
Event 7 is worth flagging separately because swimming returns after a two-year absence, and the athlete/context materials connect that return to the post-2024 safety backdrop.[4][5] For viewers, though, the operational point is blunt: if the swim/burpee ladder is the event you came to see live, the stream split puts it behind FloElite.[1]

Unreleased events to keep marked, not guessed
The unreleased list matters because CrossFit’s reveal culture is part of the show, but it is terrible for a reference tab if it gets blurred into rumor. As of July 23, Events 8–12, 14, 16–17, and 20 do not have public workout details in the materials used here.[3]
- Event 8: free stream, workout not released.
- Events 9–10: FloElite-exclusive, workouts not released.
- Events 11–12: free stream, workouts not released.
- Event 14: free stream, workout not released.
- Events 16–17: FloElite-exclusive, workouts not released.
- Event 20: free stream, workout not released.
That distinction is especially important for Events 9, 10, 16, and 17. A viewer deciding whether to subscribe is not only deciding around known workouts; in several cases, they are deciding around exclusive event numbers whose tests have not been published.
Scale and stakes, without losing the schedule
The individual field is listed at 60 athletes, split evenly between 30 men and 30 women, representing 19 nations.[4][5] Jayson Hopper enters with a three-peat bid, and Tia-Clair Toomey is listed in the event context as defending an eighth title.[4][5] Those are real stakes, but they are not substitutes for the platform table. A great event is still easy to miss if the viewer assumes everything is in the same free feed.
The broader Games scale is large enough on its own: the available context lists 254,000 Open registrations, an 8.1% year-over-year increase, and a prize-pool structure tied to 50% of Open entry fees, with an estimated individual winner payout of about $312,000.[4] Those figures help explain why the broadcast ecosystem is bigger and more commercial than it used to be. They do not make a surprise paywall less annoying.
What to recheck before each viewing block
Before opening a stream, check three things in this order: the event number, the platform status, and whether the workout has actually been released. Times are subject to change, FloElite pricing should be verified at the purchase screen, and unreleased workouts may appear close to competition time.[1][2][3] If those three pieces stay visible, the 2026 CrossFit Games are much easier to watch from home without finding out at the start line that the event moved somewhere you cannot access.
