You may already be closer than you think
The supplement aisle tends to make beginners feel as if they are starting from zero. Most are not. Stanford Medicine’s discussion of NHANES-style intake data reports that U.S. men average roughly 90–100 grams of protein per day and women roughly 65–75 grams per day.
